For 20 years Switchfoot has been rocking out on the sand and making a difference with at-risk youth.  Come join us for a full day of volunteering at the 2024 Switchfoot BroAM and enjoy surf contests, surf jousting and over 5 hours of live music.  This is by far one of our favorite events of the year, do not miss it!

Step 2: Register on the Switchfoot BroAM site so you can select your shift, reserve a cool event t-shirt and sign their liability forms.  https://www.broam.org/volunteer

How can I help? Register to assist with set-up, tear down, help the Stage Production team by unloading gear, help vendors, sell band merchandise in the Switchfoot tent, assist at the water station with the Rob Machado Foundation,  hand out jerseys in the surf contest area, make this a zero waste event by helping people discard of trash and recyclables on the Green team.  You can also swing by the Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship tent to meet people, get them to sign up for upcoming service events and help them get plugged in to local Rotary Clubs.  Ask someone, "What's your passion and if I gave you $100 how would you do good in the world?"  Chances are that conversation will uncover their passion for a non-profit, charity and cause and how Rotary can power their efforts to do even more.  Of course they might just want $100...Ha, Ha!

This year's Switchfoot BroAM Beneficiaries include A step Beyond, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Feeding San Diego, Monarch School, Rady Children's Hospital and Save the Music Foundation.

Have specific questions about the event, the beneficiaries simply click the links below.   The Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship tent will be in the Surf Zone area near D Street and Challenged Athletes Foundation...drop in the barrel and bring some friends too.  This is an excellent way to invite neighbors, family and friends to get involved and recruit potential members to the family of Rotary including Rotaract and Interact too.
