Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship is happy to support AmpSurf and the 2021 ISA World Para Surfing Championships. According to Dana Cummings of AmpSurf the contest days will be Dec 7-11 however there will be a need for volunteers Dec 4-12 to include the clinics, the contest, set-up and tear down. More details to follow so mark your calendars as the top adaptive surfers in the world will compete in Pismo Beach. That’s right the venue of La Jolla Shores is now the Central Coast and with a Winter swell that could be gnarly indeed. The International Surfing Association governs this contest and has asked contest volunteers to chip in $10 for the T-shirt worn while volunteering and can then keep as a souvenir from the event. Please pay for this shirt while filling out your volunteer registration information online. All volunteers must register online so that AmpSurf and ISA have details on everyone on site for safety and insurance purposes. During registration you will also be able to sign up for specific shifts (days, times and duties). The event organizers will also have your information in case we need to contact you.

Read through the general volunteer info on the Eventbrite page and then click on the GREEN BUTTON labeled REGISTER at the top right of the page.
There is no need to pay for a $10 T-shirt if you volunteer only for the December 5th Surf Clinic which are the top two listings on the volunteer registration list. The next three listings are for volunteering (Security, General Contest & Safety) during the Championships (December 7-11) as well as for the before and after set up and tear down. ($10 fee for your event T-shirt for these categories). Most of you will probably want to click the General Contest box. The last listing is for participating athletes. ($50).
Once you select your desired area of volunteering then click CHECK OUT. You will then fill out your personal contact info, accept waivers, pay your T-shirt $10 and be given the option to select the jobs your are interested in doing as well as the days and time slots you are available to volunteer.
Eventbrite then emails you a confirmation, receipt and link to check your registrations details.
Event organizers will be in touch with you prior to the Championships to confirm your volunteer times, dates, duties and check in details.
